Alerts
Alerts keep you informed about important events in your Klaviyo account without requiring you to log in every day. The bell icon in the top-right of every page shows your unread count.
Alert types
| Type | When it fires |
|---|---|
| Tier breach | Your profile count is projected to cross a billing tier within 14 or 30 days |
| Suppression completed | A suppression rule finished running with a summary of results |
| Profiles unlocked | Profiles have completed their 90-day suppression window and are ready for re-evaluation |
Tier breach alerts
Tier breach in 14 days — the most urgent alert. At your current growth rate, you’ll cross a billing tier within two weeks. Take action by running a suppression rule to reduce your active profile count.
Tier breach alerts include:
- The exact tier you’re projected to cross and the cost increase
- Your current growth rate (e.g. +42 profiles/day)
- The projected breach date
- A recommendation (e.g. “Suppressing 800 dead profiles would extend your runway by 3+ weeks”)
Suppression completed alerts
When a suppression rule finishes, ListGuard sends an alert with:
- The rule name
- How many profiles were suppressed
- How many cold-but-buying profiles were protected
- Estimated monthly savings from the tier reduction
Profiles unlocked alerts
When profiles complete their 90-day suppression window, you’ll be notified with:
- How many profiles are now eligible for re-evaluation
- How many ListGuard recommends keeping suppressed vs. considering for win-back
Notification settings
Configure how you receive alerts in Settings:
- In-app — always on; shown in the bell menu and Alerts page
- Email — opt-in email to any address
- Slack webhook — post alerts to a Slack channel
