Jail Tracker
When Klaviyo suppresses a profile, it enforces a 90-day lock — suppressed profiles cannot be re-subscribed during this period. Jail Tracker monitors every suppressed profile, shows when the lock expires, and flags profiles that are coming up for re-evaluation.
The 90-day jail
Klaviyo applies a 90-day lock after suppression — profiles cannot be re-subscribed during this window. ListGuard tracks when each batch becomes eligible for re-engagement or permanent suppression.
Once a profile is suppressed, you have two options at the end of the 90-day window:
- Keep suppressed — the profile remains removed (recommended for truly dead contacts)
- Re-evaluate — if the profile has shown any purchase activity, consider re-adding them for a win-back flow
Key metrics
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| In Jail | Total profiles currently in the 90-day suppression window |
| Unlocking in 30 days | Profiles whose 90-day lock expires within the next 30 days |
| Released (last 7d) | Profiles whose lock expired in the past 7 days |
Upcoming unlocks table
The main table shows all profiles unlocking within the next 30 days, sorted by unlock date. The Days Left column is colour-coded:
- Red (1–7 days) — unlock imminent, decide now
- Amber (8–14 days) — review soon
- Black (15+ days) — no action needed yet
What to do when a profile unlocks
When the 90-day window ends, ListGuard recommends one of two actions:
- If the profile has recent purchase activity → consider running a Win-Back campaign before making a permanent decision
- If the profile has no activity whatsoever → leave suppressed; Klaviyo will keep them suppressed indefinitely until you take action
